Text Imports as Gibberish

I have an LG enV touch phone. I'm using Windows 7. I'm not sure what type o=
f cord is used to attach the phone. BitPim says it's updated. Everything se=
ems to work with the exception of some SMS messages being imported as gibbe=
rish symbols and letters. It will show a brief preview of the message in th=
e Subject line=2C but the actual message that is supposed to be in the whit=
e box is gibberish.=20
The issue appears to be associated with the same contacts time after time. =
I wonder if it's associated with users of Sprint phones=2C but I'm not cert=
ain if all of the people this problem occurs with are using Sprint or not. =
Is there a way to import the messages correctly like the rest of them? Othe=
r SMS messages etc import just fine. Suggestions/help? Please let me know i=
f more info is needed.=20
