can't backup text messages from LG enV3

Each time I try to back up my text messages (or anything else) from my LG enV3 cell phone to my laptop (Windows & Home Premium, Service Pack 1) using BitPim version: 1.0.7-official, w/a USB cable, I get the error message below.
