Hi, it should not. Well, it worked since something happened, and then when bearer restarted (or the machine was restarted), I got this error. By the way I'm running it on a windows 2000 advanced server, not Linux. It seems that when the bearerbox restarts the 7110 device remains reserved, while on the other devices (wavecom modems) there is no problem. This is a major problem as first of all it kepps writing the log 100 row at second or more, and all modems stop work. Suddendly yesteday night bearerbox restarted, don't know exactly why. After that, I had this error: 2002-02-07 21:20:43 [8] DEBUG: AT2[/dev/com10]: device opened2002-02-07 21:20:43 [8] DEBUG: AT2[/dev/com10]: device opened RNO=13 2002-02-07 21:20:43 [6] ERROR: System error 13: Permission denied 2002-02-07 21:20:43 [8] DEBUG: AT2[/dev/com10]: device opened2002-02-07 21:20:43 [8] DEBUG: AT2[/dev/com10]: device opened 2002-02-07 21:20:43 [6] ERROR: at_data_link: fail to set termios attribute 2002-02-07 21:20:43 [6] ERROR: System error 9: Bad file number 2002-02-07 21:20:43 [6] INFO: AT2[/dev/com7]: speed set to 19200 2002-02-07 21:20:43 [6] DEBUG: AT2[/dev/com7]: --> ^M 2002-02-07 21:20:43 [6] DEBUG: AT2[/dev/com7]: write failed with errno 9 2002-02-07 21:20:43 [6] ERROR: AT2[/dev/com7]: at2_read_buffer: fd = -1. Now even if bearer is stopped I can't access to com7, and maybe I'll have to restart. By the way I don't undesrtand what may be happen. I never had such problem before, so I think this is due to 7110. I would like to know why this happened. Any ideas? Thanks Andrea P.S. before everything worked ok, even 7110 sms reception.
