Re: [RFY] Unicode in MO Messages and other patchWell.. it's a question of terms... "my-number" is the short number that clients use to send (MO) to me. This is the number I want to use in "A Number" (from/sender) when I reply. "large-account" is the key defined in smsc to my account. In here, unfortunatly, it's the ip/port if it's a single address account, or something like 10<shortnumber>0000<connection number> if it's a multiple adress account. This is what I receive from smsc: <06/00112/O/52/0100110120131234/mynumber////////////0000/050302171557////4/0016/064A///1///////0201080D0100///55> The sender from this message is the "large-account" and it should be the short-number (1234, for example). Setting my-number = 1234 in config file, kannel would reply with 1234 in sender, even without force-sender or default-sender (my-number is essential with multiple connections). Now I have to have multiple sms-services for each smsc, exactly equal except in the forced-sender=. but.... The most important question here is: I guess this is something wrong with smsc configuration, but I've been "sneaking" on the smsc configuration and I don't find anything. I guess it's wrong because I receive in the mobile the same ip+port or 10<short>000<connum> in the delivery report, and this is definitively wrong. So, if someone have any hits for configuring the CMG smsc, I'll appreciate the help. (and hints for having a range of short-numbers redirected to one connection, or having the numbers +351999* are apreciated too) ----- Original Message ----- From: Andreas Fink To: Bruno David Rodrigues Cc: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, March 05, 2002 8:36 AM Subject: Re: [RFY] Unicode in MO Messages and other patch I'm gonna send a patch tomorrow (after some more testing) with this: 2002-03-03 Bruno Rodrigues <[email protected]> * gw/smsc_emi2.c: keepalive time is now only updated after sending an operation 51 or the keepalive itself * doc/userguide/userguide.xml: added my-number information to at2 group * gw/smsc_emi2.c: added my-number configuration to emi2. Sometimes, the large account number is not the same as the number. Can you epxlain what you mean with "large-account number" versus "my-number"? I dont follow this. Do you mean the login (sms-username) is not the same as the destination nubmer (can be but where's the problem with that?). -- Andreas Fink Fink-Consulting ------------------------------------------------------------------ Tel: +41-61-6932730 Fax: +41-61-6932729 Mobile: +41-79-2457333 Address: A.
