Well, I haven't your patch here so I cannot look at it.
BTW I can't understand when you check sim memory,
maybe it's a polling like when checking for data received
on the serial.
This way SIM could be damaged after many operation
as someone said in devel sometimes ago, or again
I'm missing something?
