Alternativly, you could increase the max size of the checking malloc's
allocation table in gwlib/gwmem-check.c at line 100 in  #define
MAX_TAB_SIZE

It's a limit with checking-malloc. You should compile with native
malloc, if
I rebember it is done by
        ./configure --with-defaults=speed
