About nokia 3310 and kannel 1.0.3

Hello,

I have try for a long time to do working my Nokia 3310 as SMSC with Kannel
stable version (1.0.3) and it don't work.

I have this message: "Command: ATEO
PANIC: Cannot start with SMSC connection failing"

My conf file is like this:

group = smsc
sms = at
modemtype = nokiaphone
device = /dev/ttyS0
pin=1234

Can I change something ? Do you have comments or experience to share about
this ?
Can I use Nokia 3310 as SMSC in Kannel 1.0.3 ?
