WTLS status? Paricularly for latest 1.1.6+ development (fwd)

Looks like the WTLS patches in the AddOns
http://www.kannel.3glab.org/addons.shtml
are all for 1.0.3 and there are no more recent patches.

What's the WTLS status in 1.1.6 and current development?

Is there anything functional enough to do trivial demos?

What remains to be done? How can I help?

I do C, C++, Linux, Windows, XML, HTTP, sockets, TCP/IP, etc. etc..

I may have some cycles to contribute if this can be made to happen.
