Also with this configuration file I cannot produce the problem.

What happens if you downgrade the gw/wap-appl.c file to the 1.70
version??

cvs up -r1.70 gw/wap-appl.c

Do you still have the problem then?? This takes out the change I did
to add access logging to the wapbox.

Sorry, I cannot do better. I cannot reproduce it.
