yep, it's required.

Oded produces good code IMO, I'm voting +1 for adding him to the core
developer team and allow write permission to cvs. What do the others
say?

I'd like to have more people voting to have a clear decission here.

BTW, cvs commiters should obay the following rules:

Commiting to CVS is always allowed without previous voting in the
devel@ list if:

1) bugs or misbehaviours are fixed.
2) features are added that can be configured and don't change the
"normal" default behaviour at all.

For any commits that do change behaviour in a standard production
environment we *HAVE TO* ask for votes in the devel@ list. 

This mechanism will allow core developers to veto against changes,
without the need to rollback to often in the cvs tree.
