Header Encoding

Hello All

I am very new to this subject,please help me for the following:

1>In the terminology given,what is client:is it wap enabled mobile 
handset. server:is it wap gateway or http server.

2>are there any spec for encoding wsp headers, how can we encode 
the wsp headers???. will wsp headers come before wsp pdu's.

 from my test prgm i am sending s-unitmethodinvoke, the wap box is 
throwing a error saying "Unsupported token or header".
please help me.
