Encoding of text/html with quality parameter

Hi there, I'm having problems encoding an accept-header, which looks the following way: text/html;q=0.5 I am being told, that it should look the following way: [80][03][82][80][33] .. But is that correct? .. Ethereal and the other tools, I have tried, does not decode it properly (there is an error-message). If I set the extension-bit on the q-value, so it becomes 0xB3 instead of 0x33, no errors are found in Ethereal, which indicates to me, that 0xB3 as q-value is correct.
