Kannel has received the WAP 1.1 certification by the WAP Forum, even
while it has been dropped because the former developers didn't pay the
royalty fees.

Kannel has partially WAP 1.2.1 support build in, espacially PPG
capabilities. But not the whole 1.2.1 framework is done, espacially
it's currently laking the WTP SAR (segmentation and reassembly) and
WTLS (security layer).
