RE: Wap over GPRS & kannel support

Hi,

These types of questions may be better addressed on the user mailing list
than the development list (list correct me if I'm wrong - I'm also new to
this list).

The answer to your question:

1. You need a GPRS device and a GPRS service from your operator
2. They will give you connection settings for your device to configure it
(APN, IP etc.)
3. I had to use the 'Internet' settings as their 'WAP' settings wouldn't
allow me to access any other WAP gateway outside their network.
4. Set-up Kannel listening on a server - (having a public static IP is handy
here)
5. Set the Gateway settings of your device to the IP in 4 above.
6. Voila
