I get the following while addressing a HTTP resource that is not
available via connectionless mode:

there is no such PANIC as in your log?!

interesting is that I get:

2002-11-13 23:48:19 [10] ERROR: System error 1: Operation not
permitted

while you get:

2002-11-13 15:28:50 [10] ERROR: gethostbyname failed
2002-11-13 15:28:50 [10] ERROR: System error 2: No such file or
directory

BTW, this was on Cygwin. I'm testing this now on Linux too, to ensure
it's not a OS specific thing.
