hmm, now as we abstract the dlr_find() calls for the implementation
technique, i.e. internal/mem or mysql sql based. The abstracted
functions expect to receive the same semantics for the returned
values. At least at this point we expect to be the same.

Anyone checked the issue Paul mentioned?! Andreas, how about you?!
