No, it won't.

OffTopic in a kannel list, but have you configured you Suse to run portsentry or
any other portscaner daemon ?

I remember that portsentry opens some honeypot ports and when anyone else
connects to those ports, portsentry will could reply back, probably with its own
portscan.
