I commented out two smsc cimd2 instances and reloaded bearerbox and smsbox
daemons.

situation has changed:

13770 root       2   0  6108K  3112K poll     0:00  0.00%  0.00% bearerbox

I will try to patch Angel's most recent smsc_cimd2.c patch and then will
report.
