support for Greek characters

hi all

I am investigating using Kannel with a CMG smsc.  However, I need to be able use non latin character sets, specifically Greek.

I have found in charset.c that the function gsm_to_latin1 maps all greek chars to ?.  If I edit this file, replacing the ? with the correct greek chars will this work?  are there any other places i should be aware of wrt to character encoding?
