Uh, they just use plain text !! .
Here's a sample :
say Bind Service(to authenticate) :

BS0001CSEAiG0006cms978<NULL>

Here's their table format (left to right)  :

Basically the documents for this smsc is suggesting I just open client 
connection to their port and pump text in and await for
textual response. Have you encountered any smsc(s) like this ?
