kannel talking to http instead of emi, etc.

We have a problem in implementing kannel in our connection to a Telco.

Because of their secirity/policy, the Telco will not give us a direct
connection to their SMSC.  What the Telco have, is an application that
will receive all request and it will pass all the messages to their
SMSC.  In short, they have a front end application.

Now our problem, we want to implement kannel in this kind of
connection.  A few questions:
1. Can kannel connect/talk to the application of the Telco?
2. Can kannel talk to another kannel?  I think the front end of the
telco is another kannel.
