  Does Microsoft Mobile Information Server Provides the same capabilities
for SMS which
  kannel is providing ??

  Means the Implementation of SMPP,CIMD2 and EMI protocol etc.


  SMPP for sure and maybe EMI, I can't remember exactly.

  Problem with MMIS is that you need a customer bit *and* an operator bit.
  Operators have been noticeably reluctant to put MS kit into their
  networks and I hear MMIS has not been an outstanding success :-).

  Anyone else with experience of MMIS ?
