Unfortunatly fakewap is not very good, because it does not use any client side WAP routines from the libwap.a library. There are no, BTW, so the main approach would be: a) write the client-side routines if not yet done inside Kannel b) provide the client routines to an Apache module so you can trigger an external WAP gateway via a normal HTTP user agent.
