Kannel will keep acting as an ESME regarding to your telco's SMSC (the same
as it is now).

Now you have:

+-----------+ HTTP     +-------+   +---------+ SMPP     +------------+
|client apps|<-------->| smsbox|<->|bearerbox|<-------->|telco's SMSC|
+-----------+ protocol +-------+   +---------+ protocol +------------+

And with smppbox you will have:

+-----------+ SMPP     +-------+   +---------+ SMPP     +------------+
|client apps|<-------->|smppbox|<->|bearerbox|<-------->|telco's SMSC|
+-----------+ protocol +-------+   +---------+ protocol +------------+

Angel,

thanks for explanation. seems like i've got the point, but just like to
assure - it would be only *seen* as SMSC, i.e. it would be virtual and act
as ESME in SMPP logics, right?
