answer from telco? In order to use bind_transceiver you _must_ define in your 
smsc group for smpp link: interface-version = 34 (kannel uses 33 as default)
And yes inerface_version is mandatory and yes again: kannel set it!

this warning is harmless, it's only due the error above...
