RE: 0x00000058 causing queue delay

  hi all i am connected to a CMG box that the provider has set a limit of 30
messages in the SMSC for a unavailable subscriber, this causes kannel to get
a error code 0x00000058 with is throttling error,
  kannel then put all out going messages in the queue first before sending
them out, my problem is kannel takes for ever to retry the good messages...
can i make kannel send the good messages out and ignore the queued messages?

  I thought that error code 0x58 referred to the capacity of the SMPP link
rather than an individual subscriber.

  As you've discovered, there is nothing in Kannel to handle per MT
subscriber throttling; rather the implementation
  assumes link throttling.
