not for the PPG part. The gwlib/mime.[ch] is used within our MMSC for
these purposes and could be addopted to be used in PPG sources too.
But If you have such a drastic need, you should do the
changes/additions on your own and provide us patches if succeeded.

Unfortunatly I don't have the time to do this, even while it "may be
of general use". If you'd like to contribute, then please go ahead.
