You have to change the charset.c file (which resides under the gwlib
directory), and compile the gateway again (make, make install). Here are the
instructions:
STEP 1 : FTP the file to a computer running Win9x/2k/XP OS 
STEP 2 :. Edit the file as follows (check out the RED points)

STEP 3: FTP the file back to linux, in the same directory (/gwlib) replacing
the existing file
 
STEP 4 : Re-compile the gateway (make, make install)
 
The new bearerbox,smsbox are now greek-enabled

Hi everyone!!!!. Could someone help me how to send messages with greek
characters with smpp protocol? I have configured kannel in redhat linux 9.
It send messages with latin characters but when I write greek the getting
sms is wrong…It’ s very urgent because I have a client that wants to send
sms in greek!!! What changes I have to do and In what files?
