Using kannel's WAP-stack

Hi,

If I read it all right, I can talk to my provider's WAP gateway on my
computer if I use my mobile phone as a GPRS modem and start a
UDP-connection to the right host and port. Over this UDP-connection, I
have to talk nice binary protocols like WSP. Is that correct?

Since WSP does not seem to be too easy, I am wondering if I can use the
WSP-stack in kannel that, or if there are other Free WAP-stacks around.

Thx,

Joachim
