MMS on CSD bearer

Hi,
I have to set up a MMS test on a network without GPRS. "Theoretically"
this can be done via CSD and I wanted to know if someone has already
tried it. 
Are there some recommended handsets (or not recommended) for this use? 
Is there some "Hey this was not written on specs!" hints?
