composing UDH

hi ppl,
         i have managed to setup and run the kannel gateway successfully. There is no issue of sending text sms.however when i attempt to send binary sms,ie picutures and ringtone,i encountered malfunction header kindof errors.I have learnt from the mailing list that i will require to send the appropriate UDH and HEX string to the text in order to have the binary sms sending across. Currently i have difficulties in composing the UDH. May i know how you guys derived the UDH and HEX string representation of the picutures for both NOkia smart messaging and EMS? is there a ready program that comes with kannel to do the conversion of the UDH and HEX string from a image file input?
