SMPP v3.0 ?

Hi,

we are planning to connect to a smsc via SMPP, they use one of the products of ZTE which supports SMPP v3.0.
we use Kannel 1.3 as gateway which support SMPP v3.3 and v3.4.
is SMPP v3.3 interoperable with v3.0 ? is there any version of Kannel which support SMPP v3.0 ?
main question Is there any SMPP v3.0 protocol specification ?
