ok, unfortunatly I'm not familiar with Nokia's CIMD protocol. But I
guess that CIMD2 does so called "flow-mode", which means it passes an
MT and waits to receive a ACK from SMSC. When ACK is received, it
sends the next MT messages, and so on.
You may drop us a snipp from the bearerbox.log where the CIMD2
connection trace is shown, just to verify.
So IMO, this either a) up to the SMSC not ACK'ing as fast as they
claim they could, or b) your IP connection uplink is that narrow
bandwith'ed that the IP traffic (along the CIMD2 PDUs) is consuming to
much of it and hence things get slow.
