It still applies well to the current CVS HEAD, but immediately causes a segfault when /cgi-bin/sendota is executed; so you'd better not go too far with it. Alexander promised to take a look at it about a month ago. I `ping'ed him a few times with some beer, but he seems to be somewhat busy for this. Maybe you could join forces with me, to abuse beer-power for him. I guess that would work :) I have been playing around with the patched version to fix the problem, with no success yet; though I didn't spend that much time on it.
