Sorry for the late reply, but I don't follow this list too closely
anymore after I decided to GPL my code and hence move it out of Kannel.

The project currently lives at SourceForge.net
( http://www.sf.net/projects/freemmsc ) It is not currently functional,
because I've been messing around with a lot of the internal data
structures. I go on christmas holiday this Wednesday, and I'm aiming at
spending a lot of that holiday on stabilizing freemmsc and making it
functional. I'm expecting it to hit an alpha release by the end of this
month. If people are interested, I'll post to this list, too, when it's
released?
