Setting GMT

Dear Kannel Developers,

Firstly I'd like to wish everyone a wonderful festive season and prosperous
new year.

My SMSs are displayed on the recipient's mobile with a sent time of 2 hours
ahead of the current time.
How can I set the SMSs to have a time of 2 hours earlier.
Does one need a patch to resolve this?

I'm using the CVS from Christmas night and the time on the Linux Box is set
to GMT+2. Does this mean I must set my current time to GMT, eventhough my
time zone is GMT+2?
