first of all, aplogies accepted. Everyone here is free to drop his opinion 
without the fear to be flamed for it.

Now to the problem: Rafael seems to want to set an optional parameter (v3.4) for 
  the callback_num. Unfortunatly it's not that easy to set optional parameter 
currently in Kannel's SMPP v3.3/4 implementation. (see discussion in the list 
regarding how to abstract these generic things for all SMSC types).
