Receiving messages from STK through Kannel

Hi,

 

We are developing an application which receives messages from a STK based
application. The flow of the messages will be:

 

          STK --> SMSC --> Kannel --> My Java App.

 

          After My Java App receives the HTTP request from kannel, it processes
the request and sends back the result to STK:

          

          My Java App. --> Kannel --> SMSC --> STK

 

I have done the setup of kannel and my app. Everything works fine with plain
SMS. I have also got parameters for sending messages from My Java App to Kannel
to STK, what is not yet clear to me is what will I get from STK i.e. in case of
MT messages. What will be the format of the message and how do I parse it? I
don't have access to the STK app yet. I just want to know, is STK implementation
vendor specific or a generic format. Coz if it's vendor-specific then I can
check it with my vendor.

 

Plz. respond, I need to resolve this asap. Have been stuck for quite sometime
now.
