now, I commited the following fix:

2005-11-03  Stipe Tolj  <[email protected]>
    * configure[.in]: fixing mysql section for the sake of sparc-solaris-10.

@David: please update cvs tree and retry to configure. I do assume that this 
variant should work out-of-the-box on solaris.
