sqlbox_configure_pgsql auto_increment?

Hi,

Browsing the sqlbox source code I just found that
sqlbox_configure_pgsql has MySQL specific syntax in the CREATE
statement like "auto_increment" which equivalent in PostgreSQL should
be "serial".

Off topic, I was wondering why the Kannel website has not been
updated since 2004, the latest production-ready release seems to be
1.4.0 but the cvs has a lot of bug fixes, for instance the list*
function names that clash with the MySQL 4.1.x ones, so, I would like
to know if:

1. Is it safe to use cvs sources instead of 1.4.0 in a production
server?
2. Does current cvs sources break compatibility with 1.4.0?

Thanks in advance,
