Yep. there is two things to do:
a) either you remove flags arch flags, then Kannel will be compiled
for your machine:
b) you tell compiler to look libgcc from the right place:
"-Wl,-syslibroot,/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk"
Please tell if this works. It would be good to fix this before the
new release.
