now, I can confirm that it builds cleanly on:

tolj@vm-freebsd6$ uname -a
FreeBSD vm-freebsd6.intern.tolj.org 6.0-RELEASE FreeBSD 6.0-RELEASE #0: Thu Nov 
  3 09:36:13 UTC 2005

I have no clue why that other doesn't build. Are you shure it's a "clean" checkout?
