Shutdown of smsbox

Hi,

We are running to instances of Kannel behind a load-balancer as SMS
gateway (HTTP to EMI2).

I noticed that when I shut down Kannel smsbox is going on to accept new
messages via HTTP
that sometimes get lost completely.

I would prefer that on shutting down the bearerbox, the first thing
would be stopping to
accept new HTTP connections in the smsbox.

I've implemented this behaviour, but is this wanted?

"My way":

1) Send a (new) HTTP Shutdown message to smsbox, making it shutting down the
HTTP ports (currently brute force, I'd prefer to implement this in a
way only shutting
    down idle connections).

2) Terminate SMSC connections

3) Really shut down smsbox.

Could I please get a "pre-vote" if this behaviour is wanted?

Cheers,

Georg
