Re: iconv and configure

Hi Alex,

iconv was installed from the FreeBSD ports system, and /usr/local  
tends to be where FreeBSD installs all its ports. Maybe I need to  
update the autoconf port?

The work around you suggested was what I did in the end.  I'll see if  
I can find out where autoconf gets it paths from, but any hints on  
where to look appreciated :-)
