Hi Djiby,

Thanks for the reply.

I have that set in my conf file.

However my understanding of that option is that if the message is blank 
then send nothing, as oppose to my issue in which kannel 'generates' an 
error message because the web server was unreachable at the time or 
Kannel timed out waiting for the request. 

This is the message I wish to prevent from going to the mobile phone 
upon an http (get-url) error.

I hope this better explains my issue.
