OISD driver is dropping empty messages - could somebody help me to resolve this issue ?

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for help to resolve bug in OISD driver, unfortunately i
don't have skills ( i.e. C programming.. ) to do it myself.
I already described problem at http://bugs.kannel.org/view.php?id=400.
More - less, looks like that OISD driver is based on CIMD2 that was
updated, but OISD is not and inherits an old bug from CIMD2. Because of
this issue, it makes me kannel useless - empty messages (even sent by
mistake) are never delivered for billing/processing purposes. Please help...
