Hi Stefan,

from the error messages I think you don't have iconv support. Please verify
that you have following in the gw-config.h:

/* Define if you have <iconv.h>.  */
#define HAVE_ICONV_H 1

If you don't have this then you should look how to enable/install iconv for
your distribution.
