What username/password do you want to add? I have not seen any AT  
device asking for username / password.

Kannel is just a few binaries. Namely bearerbox and smsbox and wapbox.  
You can have multiple versions compiled and installed and running as  
long as you know which one is which and don't have configurations  
which overlap for example you can not have two bearerboxes using the  
same ports.
