kannel developer env.

hello all,

i want to develop a module (smpp) for kannel,
but i have never developed in a gnu environment.

I have added a .c file and included a .h file in the .c file
but when i compile it the .h in not found (it's in the same folder as 
the .c file).

I know it's a matter of aclocal, autoconf ... but i don't know how to use it
anyone can help me on that? a tutorial or a quick guide ... oriented to 
kannel.
