Hi Narendra,

the normal Kannel SMS gateway can't act as SMPP server, as it abstracts all SMSC
client side protocol to HTTP on the server side.

I provide a commercial add-on component, the Kannel SMPP v3.4 server (smppbox),
that allows you to use the known Kannel architecture and implements a vSMSC
solution, implementing the following chain:

  upstream SMSC <-SMPP/UCP/HTTP/..-> bearerbox <-> smppbox <-SMPP-> SMPP client

So smppbox attaches to bearerbox for the upstream MT, MO and DLR traffic. All
message types are supported and DLR msg ID handling is transparently mapped.
